Job Summary
The OM Group is passionate about making a difference to learners in the Construction Industry and is looking for qualified and experienced Trainers and Assessors nationwide. This is an exciting opportunity, where you will embrace a delegate-centric and forward-thinking approach and will see you become an integral and leading member of our dynamic and growing training team.
The successful candidate(s) will deliver a wide range of construction management and health and safety courses; be able to assess NVQ candidates at Levels 2-6 and ideally deliver Internal Quality Assurance (IQA).

In return, we will provide full admin and system support, as well as opportunities for further training, development and accreditation.
Duties Include:
- Delivery of a wide range of accredited courses and qualifications – safety, management and industry-related.
- Assessment of NVQ candidates at Levels 2 to 6.
- Delivery of Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) for accredited qualifications.
- Ensuring that learning programs are adapted to the changing work environment by amending or revising them when necessary.
- Provide a safe training and assessment environment ensuring compliance with Awarding Bodies’ criteria, relevant legislation and safety policy.
- Demonstrate and exemplify positive behaviours and attitudes that reflect company values and vision through co-operative working with colleagues and clients.
Skills & Experience:
- Adult Teaching Qualification (essential)
- 3 + years’ experience within a similar role, preferably in the construction industry
- Full and clean driving licence with a flexible approach to travel
- NEBOSH National General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent – desirable)
- Membership of IOSH (desirable).
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written to offer delegates, constructive, clear and actionable feedback.
