Plant Training

Plant is a term used to describe heavy machinery used on construction sites.

Working on a construction site, inherently is fraught with dangers and hazards.

Heavy machinery is an absolute necessity for many construction projects and consequently is integral to the industry. However, it poses a high level of risk to both operators and workers on site. With the heightened level of risk, having the requisite knowledge and skill to operate machinery safely on site is critical.

The role and importance of training courses, in helping to mitigate the risks associated with operating heavy machinery and equipment, cannot be understated. By undertaking the relevant training courses, it provides you with the opportunity to understand the potential threats and risks that come with operating plant, but also the chance to develop your skill set and better understand the various types of machinery you may use on site.

Our range of plant training includes Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) courses, as well as National Plant Operator Scheme (NPORS) courses.

These accreditors specialise in training for those working with machinery on-site and through successful completion, it will aid in demonstrating your competency and ability to perform your job role in a safe and efficient manner.

Training courses are often capped and limited to a smaller cohort with the aim of offering delegates a more focused and personal learning experience, whilst also offering more time for questions and answers, providing you with additional opportunities to learn and acquire knowledge.
